Banana Almond Butter Smoothie

Ingredients

1 ripe banana 

2 tablespoons almond butter 

1 cup unsweetened almond milk 

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for added sweetness) 

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 

1 tablespoon cacao powder 

1 tablespoon chia seeds 

Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the banana, almond butter, almond milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), cinnamon, vanilla extract, cacao powder, and chia seeds to a blender.
  • Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  • If desired, add a few ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the smoothie reaches your desired consistency.
  • Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
